We're always reluctant to see a member close their account, but understand that sometimes your business needs change and closing your account is the best decision for you and your company. We do have a few requirements that need to be met in order to close your account.
- BizX requires 30 days written notice that you intend closing your account. Let your account manager know via email, or send an email to help@bizx.com.
- Prepayment of fees on the BizX balance in your account at the time you provide notice is also required. For instance, if you have a $1,000 balance and your fee plan is 7.5% you would need to pay $75. Your entire balance is then available for you to use until it reaches zero. Any cash fees owing at the time you give notice also need to be paid in full.
- If you have a negative BizX balance, you will need to provide us with payment to bring your balance to zero.
After these requirements are met, we'll change your account status and remove all your listings from the BizX Marketplace.
If there's a way we can work with you on a solution that will let you continue to take advantage of the BizX network, let us know. Sometimes just talking through the options with one of our staff will give you a possible solution you hadn't considered. You can reach out by phone M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm Pacific to speak with one of our knowledgeable Member Services team at 800-939-BizX (2499) or send us an email at help@bizx.com.
